Dog Health & Condition

We can only groom dogs that are in good health and able to stand comfortably throughout the session.
If your dog is unwell or unable to stand, the appointment will be cancelled, and the full grooming fee will still apply.

Grooming prices are based on breed, size, coat condition, and temperament.
If your dog requires significantly more time due to matting or behavioural issues, an additional charge may apply. We’ll always discuss this with you during the groom.

Coat Care Between Grooms

Regular brushing and gentle care at home can keep your dog’s coat healthy and help prevent matting between appointments:

  • Use the right brush for your dog’s coat type
  • Be gentle—never brush too hard as this can cause discomfort
  • Avoid using scissors to cut out knots (it’s easy to accidentally cut your dog’s skin)
  • Always use a pet-safe shampoo—never human or baby shampoo
  • Don’t bathe a matted dog—it can make tangles worse and irritate their skin

We only use natural, chemical-free products to protect your dog’s skin and coat. Ask us about recommended products for home grooming!
